Like what you see?

As a Wenatchee wedding photographer with over a decade of experience under my belt, I've had the pleasure of capturing countless love stories. But Christine and Tom’s wedding? That was something out of a dreamy plan, filled with picturesque moments, laughter, and a dash of cultural flair. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane, or should I say, down the glorious hills of Circle 5 Winery.

Setting the Scene: A Riverside Preview

The day began at Christine and Tom’s home, which sits majestically overlooking the Wenatchee River. As I arrived to document the pre-ceremony chaos, I was immediately drawn into the master suite, where the magic was about to unfold. There hung Christine's stunning satin ballgown, freshly pressed and ready to make an entrance worthy of every fairy tale. Meanwhile, her accessories were laid out like pieces of art—sparkly details that would make any bling lover swoon. Custom Air Jordans gleamed in white, adorned with pearls and rhinestones, while the name “Mrs. Hatch” and their wedding date teased their future. Clearly, Christine had followed my ‘what to pack for your wedding detail shots’ guide to a T; the essentials were all there, much to my photographer’s delight.

As Christine prepared to slip into her gown, her daughter Jordan and dear cousin Maria joined her. I couldn't help but notice the delightful juxtaposition of Christine’s radiant ballgown and the elegant black cocktail dresses worn by the important women in her life. The air was rife with laughter, and amidst the excitement, Maria set forth a touching gift for Tom—a pair of cufflinks adorned with pictures of his mother. Being a Wenatchee wedding photographer, moments like this tug at the heartstrings, reminding me of the deep emotional layers weddings can hold.

With the potential chaos of getting ready successfully navigated, Christine and Tom chose to do a first look. Thank goodness, no one wants to feel rushed through their portraits! Let me just say, if you’re pondering how to maximize your wedding photos, consider a first look. You get a laid-back vibe, allowing time for stunning portraits without the mad dash into cocktail hour. It’s scientifically proven that you get 40% more beautiful photos when you do this.

So, there we were, capturing the couple’s reaction against the stunning backdrop of their resort-style terrace and infinity pool. The clean lines of the furniture and sprawling views over the river offered perfect compositions. The first look was a mix of giggles, tears, and, of course, a reverence for the love they had for each other.

Circle 5 Winery: A Picture-Perfect Wenatchee Wedding Venue

But let’s get to the pièce de résistance—Circle 5 Winery. As we approached, my heart skipped a beat at the sight of the clear-top tent and the opulent white floral arch which seemed to harmonize with the rolling hills. Brooke from Local Event Co. had transformed the ordinary into pure magic. She navigated the day with a calming zeal, allowing Christine and Tom to absorb every moment.

The flow of the evening was seamless and delightful. Guests enjoyed a chic pre-ceremony cocktail hour featuring a fabulous coffee bar from “Aloha Mobile Espresso Bar.” I mean, what’s a wedding without a caffeine boost to keep you dancing until dawn?

And Now, the Ceremony!

The ceremony took place on a pristine grassy bluff at Circle 5, overlooking the Wenatchee River Valley. In an emotional turn, Christine's daughter officiated, delivering heartfelt sentiments that made more than a few guests reach for their tissues. They stood under the modern floral arch, exchanging vows as the sun illuminated the moment, making it ideal for a photographer like me. I can’t stress enough how critical good lighting is for capturing love—it’s practically poetry in motion.

As guests sipped champagne and signed the guestbook, a new chapter began. Every thoughtful detail of Christine and Tom’s wedding showcased how much they cared about their guests’ experience.

Let the Good Times Roll

Cocktail hour got off to a spirited start with multiple beverage offerings: an espresso bar, a wine bar stocked by Circle 5 Winery, and a craft cocktail bar from Enchanted Events. Oh yes, folks, it was a beverage lover's paradise—almost too good to be true.

And because it’s Eastern Washington, it comes as no surprise that kids were invited! In what felt like a masterstroke of planning, the couple provided a full kids' tent complete with a bounce house, gaming trailer, and childcare. Now parents could enjoy a romantic evening, and let’s be real: what could be better than giving your buddies a literal date night while ensuring the mini crew had a blast? Win/win!

Once it was time to settle in, the reception began under that beautiful clear top tent. And let’s be real: star-gazing while dining with chandeliers and twinkling lights? That’s how you set
