When Derek & Kristin told me they had their first kiss in front of the World Spice Market at Pike Place Market, I knew it was the perfect location for their engagement session. Engagements sessions are more than just a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding. They are an opportunity to capture another facet of your relationship in a location that is emotionally meaningful. Plus, who wouldn't want more gorgeous photos for their home?!
I also love that they chose a location that is iconic for seattle. It's definitely a nod to their Quintessential Pacific Northwest Wedding theme. They will be getting married on the Washington State Ferry as it crosses puget sound to Bainbridege. Followed by a first dance on the ferry ride back across to Seattle. *Fingers crossed* that it doesn't rain! But for real, nbd if it does. It just adds to the authenticity of a Seattle wedding.
