Tips for Sucess

Every couple/family I have ever worked with over the past 10+ years has told me that they are "uncomfortable" or "awkward" in front of the camera. No problem! That's totally okay and totally normal. I'm even uncomfortable in front of the camera from time to time, and that's what I do for a living! Haha! I will be there to help guide you through the session and help make you feel at ease. It's meant to be fun. So, let's do just that.

• Prep well: For your outfits, always error on the side of being too dressy rather than too casual. You can never look "too good." :) Leave the jeans, sneakers, and t-shirts at home.

• Outfit Changes: The time window you have is yours (20 min). We won't go late. I'd suggest picking one outfit you're really excited about and sticking to it!

• Get There Early: I recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to your session start time so you can settle in, relax, and even take a shot of whiskey (if that helps you relax). Even if you're late, the shoot still ends at the same time. Get there early. Did I say get there early? Get there early. :)

• Traffic: Plan for traffic, and hope that it's not there. Always plan for "worst case scenario" and then hope for the best. It's really important that you aren't late.

• Parking: Free street parking is readily available next to the park.

• When Do You Get The Photos? You'll receive your online gallery within 2 weeks. Super easy!
